Impellizzeri's

Is there still one on Bardstown Road, and if so, does anyone have the number? The only one I can find a listing for is out toward Middletown.

Thanks!
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

Bill, you might have been on vacation or busy ... there was quite a bit of forum discussion about Benny Impellizzeri reopening the family's presence on Bardstown Road, and I reviewed it (with a couple of others) on LouisvilleHotBytes and in LEO Aug. 22 in this three-way review with Caffe Classico's new bistro dinner and Mojito's new Sunday brunch. You'll find the address and phone there ... page down to the third review for it:

The quality factor: Three local gems

It's great! The pizza is just like it was in the old days. The Hurstbourne location, which has been around for about 12 years, is run by Benny's brother Tony, and they both have the classic mile-high pie, but they're independent of each other.

We stopped in on Sunday around 3 pm and it was busy. The pizza was delicious and their salads were all tasty.
