great dinner at loulou

by Jennie Mulhall » Mon Oct 08, 2007 10:03 am

I had a wonderful birthday dinner w/ friends there on Friday night.

Delicious scallops appetizer--seared scallops over wilted greens w/ fingerling potatoes & a brown butter sauce.
My first (but not my last) LouLou pizza--sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, bacon.
A sinfully good bananas foster bread pudding--I can never pass up bread pudding & this was sooo worth the hit to my diet.
Service & atmosphere were great--the noise level didn't bother me once. My friend's 8-yr-old was enamored of all of the paintings and her four cheese pizza & raspberry-oreo ice cream (I snuck a bite & it was delish!)

Jennie - Happy belated birthday, and we're so glad you had a good time! Kids always seem to do well at Lou Lou; we rarely have one misbehave.

(Of course, that might be due to our sign: "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy") 8)

You had me at raspberry oreo ice cream. Sounds fabulous.
