Question about Volare

by Megan Johnson » Fri Mar 16, 2007 11:27 am

I've heard that they have a 1/2-Price Wine night.

does anyone know what night of the week it is?

Thursday is my hunch, but I'm kind of unsure.

Do you have to sit at the bar to get the 1/2 price wine and $5.00 martinis?

Can't say about the martinis, but the half-price wine is definitely included in table service. I've seen people going for some very pricey wines and getting them at basically retail price in this program ... it's a great value because half-price applies to everything on the list, even high-end bottles.

Martinis & Wine at Volare

by Michelle Manker » Fri Mar 16, 2007 5:12 pm

Tuesday night is 1/2 price wine and it applies equally - bar and table. Thursday is martini night - not all are $5 but all martinis are featured at a discounted price. This also applies equally to bar guests and dining room guests.
Hope this helps!

New Question about Volares

by Kim H » Fri Mar 16, 2007 7:11 pm

Can't believe we haven't been there yet! We haven't gone out much since we got married, but mostly cuz I love to cook so much. Anyway, we are planning on checking out them out soon, and I've been looking at their menu, and everything looks so good!! Any recommendations?

At Volare you can pretty much just throw a dart at the menu and order whatever it hits becasue everything's really, really, good! There's an eggplant rollup appetizer that I'm particularly fond of, though.

North End has 1/2 price bottles every night before 7:00! Their burgers rock also!
