I think he was the chef in the preview I saw who was cooking with one hand while a medic bandage up a blood gushing other hand. Ouch!

I'm sure he'll make Louisville proud!

WAVE-3 is airing a long profile/interview with Chef Lee on their 11 o'clock news tonight after "Top Chef." Look for me in the b-roll.

There were 29 chefs vying for 16 slots in the competition. Some received a chefs coat signifying that they were among the 16. Some were sent home at this time. A few were "on the bubble" because they were deemed to be potentially good and will be given another opportunity to make the sixteen at a later date.

Chef Lee is "on the bubble" because of an error in his cooking.

That, or his injury is as bad as it appeared to be on the previews, and he now has a robotic hand.

He's not just a great chef, he's great TV. "If I have to sit here much longer, I'll just kill the other five . . ." You can't script that kind of stuff.
