I've never been disappointed at Westport General Store, whether I had my Groucho nose glasses on or not. 8)

This is the one place in the region that I have not tried out but I really really want to. Meant to get out there in October - seems like the perfect fall car ride - but obviously that didn't happen.

Will, are you staying open through the winter?
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

We are going to take a short break for the month of January and plan on being back open in Feb.

We have some specials for Breeders Cup this weekend:

BBC beer braised short ribs served with stew vegetables

Surf and turf kabob's- filet tips, cod, onion, and peppers grilled and served over basmati rice

Sun dried Tomato pesto penne with grilled shrimp.

Then on Saturday Nov. 12 we have the band BlueZenGrass.
Saturday Nov. 19 we have Dozens of Dollars String Band.

Both of these bands are really good. They take the stage at 7pm.
If you prefer non music we have Thursday and Friday dinning and our wood burning stove will be cranked up for a cozy night.

Matthew please introduce yourself when you come out.

Thanks
Will Crawford
