Louisville Kitchens: The Real Dish!

by Mike M » Fri Oct 05, 2007 1:03 am

I was just thinking that with all the rumors floating around on the site I would set the record straight with some credible scoop...

First off, Sala Thai is in Fact closed....every Monday, look for their grand re-opening this and every Tuesday.

I would also like to shed some light on an earlier thread, turns out the real reason OJ Simpson was booted from Jeff Ruby's this past May had nothing to due with Jeff's moral stand and everything to do with OJ having reason to believe Jeff Ruby was the "Real Killer". My sources tell me that Nicole Simpson was bankrolling Jeff Ruby's steakhouse empire with OJ's child support checks, that coupled with the fact that Jeff and Nicole had been seen making out at Seviche some twelve years ago, and this whole time I thought Seviche had just opened a few years ago..and speaking of Seviche, I have it on good authority that Anthony Lamas will be closing at the end of the month so Mr. Lamas can pursue his dream of becoming Batman. I hear Curves will be taking over the lease..In other news Pat's Steakhouse will be going "Beef Free" next weekend, Pat has been heard saying he can no longer support this Bovine Genocide...can't wait to get one of those tofu steaks...Rick Pitino will be stepping down as coach for U of L, to become the new chef at Le Relais, allowing former chef Daniel Stage to pursue a career in music as he will be playing keyboards for the re-uniting punk band Minor Threat..lastly our very own forum host Robin Garr will be taking over as coach of the Louisville Cards hoops team, Good luck Robin in bringing home the Big East crown!!!

Hope this set the record straight.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

I'm proud to annouce that Ethan and I have found the investors to open a place on the South End...out by the place where the "Goat Man"
Image
is "rumored" to exist...Everyone knows that the South End is the last place of the county that needs a "fine dining"establishment!...

The Goatman recently moved to Iroquois Park, since he will marry the Headless Woman. They will be having the ceremony at Waverly Hills.

Catering will be by Cafe Lou Lou. Robin has been personally asked by the Goatman to be the Emcee and reporter for the event.

Damm! It was supposed to be a secret Mike. Please don't tell them who my Robin is going to be, and especially who Catwomen is. If my wife finds out, she'll be really upset with me. AWESOME! This site is great, because you always know whats going on in our little restaurant World. Thanks Mike for spilling the beans, and I thought I was the "beaner"

Mike.
Are they also going to get rid of the waiter's little white cotton gloves, because Pat can no longer support this Cotton Genocide???...

Deb

PS. I particularly liked the concept of Anthony as Batman. Maybe next year's Restaurant Calendar should feature top chefs as their favorite super-hero....
