Saturday Oct 22nd at 7pm Westport General Store is pleased to welcome Susi Wood-Smith.
Susi Wood-Smith co-owner of Shady Lane Cafe is a singer with an eclectic style and passionate voice. She has sung with Bobby McFerrin and performed in San Francisco with the Band Class Action for audiences of 5 thousand and more. Her tour of Ireland brought her acclaim by winning the prestigious Puck Fair Singing Competition and performing on radio Kerry which described her as "Brilliant" She has sung back-up with Johnny Depp and Warron Zevon, and many others. As one new york critic exclaimed " She has one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard from a white women. You are in for a treat. Susi rarely sings out anymore so this is a once in lifetime opportunity.
