While I am 100% behind the campaign to "Save the Ta-Ta's" :D ....Ta-Ta's are the ONLY redeeming thing about Hooters.

I need to get out there.

Steve, do you recommend the traditional buffalo style or the barbecue wings?

One of the BEST all time hangover cure experiences I've ever had was at Hooter's: a pitcher of piss water, order a four alarm (is that right?) Wings, and crab legs with a foot tall stack of napkins. I've been dreaming of going back since. The service was divine, too. They seriously cherry-pick their staff ;-).

I refuse to be drawn into any discussion about Hooter's "cherry picking".

Friend of mine used to be the G.M. at the Mall of America "Hooters"...Based on some of his tales, I'd say Jack-Kay hit it spot on.

Now getting back to wings...If you like really hot wings, Rooties has an AWESOME "suicide" sauce. Hot enough to command your undivided attention but not so hot as to result in permanent colon damage.

I'll second Rootie's - I stopped in about a couple of months ago for a beer and some wings. The wings were better than BWwhatever's by a long shot. I felt a bit odd as I was the only person in this very big space - but what the hell I'd go back in a heartbeat. Very traditional style that suited me just fine.

Anybody remember Nick's in the Mid-City Mall in the 80s? Killer wings as I recall.

Sorry Steve, have to disagree . . . the BARBECUE are just so awsome we never make it to the hot wings.

Rootie's wings are great. You also can't go wrong with Spring Street's buffalo or Cumberland's jerk wings.

The wings at AP Crafters can be very good, but I've also had them when they were not so great.

I'm a Spring St or Rooties guy after living here for 7.5 months. I was not a fan of the BBQ wings at Rooties though, as I would almost guarantee they were tossed with Sweet Baby Rays. The Hot and Suicide wings were phenomenal though.
