A.J.'s Gyros.

by Alison Hanover » Sat Oct 08, 2011 11:47 am

Hi everyone, just to let you know that our last day will be Sunday, 30th October. Our gryos count is at 39,701, would love to make it to 40,000 when we close for the season!! When Robin did his review of us, the gyros count was at 4,081 so come on over and help me reach 40,000. Plus, our pumpkin shakes are freaking awesome!

Way to go Alison! I had several this year and I think they were even better than last year. The pumpkin shakes were terrific too. Cheers :D

Thankyou Mark and Shane. Strangely enough the 40,000th was to a guy who didn't even know what a gyros was!

I'm not going to make out before the weekend is over, ugh. I still need to get out and try the falafel.
I am the original Mike G, never mind the impostor.

I am kind of a big deal.

I'm picturing a balloon drop, sirens blaring, strobe lights flashing... Like how supermarkets used to celebrate their ten thousandth customer or whatever. Was there any fanfare?

Err, no  He ambled up, asked me what a giro was. I told him, he said he would have a kids size. I said, Well, thankyou, that makes my 40,000th gyros. Quite low key really :D
