Arch West, "inventor" of Dorito's dead at 97

by Tim Y » Wed Sep 28, 2011 1:26 pm

Dorito's chips debuted in 1964. IMO, one of the best salty snacks ever made. It took the "lowly" tortilla chip to a whole new level. RIP

I read at the funeral they had people throw Doritos on the casket instead of dirt. So someone else posed the question of what would people throw on your casket (as your legacy)?

Probably beer as I'm seldom seen in public without one.
We just got back from grocery shopping and am happy to report that they have started making the original taco flavored Doritios in a retro 70's bag. I had to buy some of course.
