Sandwich platter recommendations ............

by Becky M » Mon Sep 26, 2011 10:25 am

Looking for some recommendations for someone that is needing sandwiches pretty last minute for a boss' wedding shower........

Several requirements:
~Really tasty!
~Good variety. They can be tea sandwiches, pinwheels, mini bun size, regular sandwich size as long as I can get a few different choices.
~Pretty affordable. I do realize I am paying for the service and quality and could probably do them cheaper myself, but $40 at the grocery + my time vs. $50 for a tray is a no brainer. Would love to spend $30-40 for about 3 dozen sandwiches.
~Must pick up tonight or between 6-10 AM tomorrow.
~Centrally located, between Highlands and downtown.

I love Joe Davolas but price could be an issue. I'm not sure if they could do 36 sandwiches for $30-$40.

Betcha they could work something out. Their sandwiches are huge; they'd cut them in half you'd still have plenty to eat. People who were still hungry could try more than one. I've had them do an assortment like that for me before.

I'm suggesting primarily due to your price limits, but Kroger can do it . . . either the catering division or several individual stores (who have in-house chefs).
