New Menu/Chef at 60 West Bistro and Martini Bar

by DustinStaggers » Sat Sep 24, 2011 7:28 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone in the forum. I'm Dustin Staggers, the new Executive Chef at 60 West Bistro and Martini Bar. I moved to our wonderful city in February after spending all 29 years of my life in Tampa, FL. I started coming here in 2006 and fell in love with this city for a multitude of reasons, mostly revolving around our fantastic restaurant scene.

I recently took over as the Exec Chef at 60 West Bistro and as of 9.21.2011 we have a brand new menu. Buying local beef from FoxHollow, buns from Nord's and as much local product as I can find. I invite everyone to take a peek at the new menu and encourage everyone to stop by and try out the new food.

If you do come in, let your server or bartender know you would like to speak to me as I'd love to meet some of you guys.

Thanks.

Hi Dustin,

Welcome to the area, I hope I can make it into 60 West sometime soon. If you need any help sourcing anything locally please let me know. Excellent choice on the buns from Nord's.

Welcome, Dustin! Charlie seems like he would be a great guy to work for (never met Emilie, but I bet she's great, too). Good luck with everything!

Thanks everyone for the replies. Charlie is a great guy which isn't always easy to find in restaurant owners!!

After 6 months of being in the Lou, I can't ever see myself leaving.
