Hi, Jamie! We're happy to have you join the forum, but I have to gently point out that the forum is intended for friendly conversations among folks who love food and local dining. Using it entirely to promote your own business, in the form of an "advertising" headline and a link to promotional copy on another Website, probably isn't the best way to create in us a good impression of what you have to sell.

Just a suggestion ... 8)

Thanks for the testimony, Leah. Glad to know they are worthy. :)

Didn't have a push pop.....but did buy a dozen (way overpriced) cupcakes from that shop about a month ago. IMO just average cupcakes. Kind of small compared to what I've bought at other Louisville cupcake shops, for around the same prices.

Hi guys! Just want to clear a few things up. @ Robin so sorry if you feel I am only using this forum to promote myself. I have posted on many of the other threads also. Feel free to remove the thread No disrespect or soliciting meant. @ Leah I am also sorry. Are these posted on your website? I searched many many places before I did these and I have never seen these done anywhere here before. I am not one to take credit where it is not due so for that I am sorry. Lastly @Trish are you sure it was us? We have only been open 3 weeks and we have not had anyone complain to us about our product as of yet.. We have had nothing but positive feedback. We understand our cupcakes may not be for everyone. Our cupcakes are the same price, lower or comparable to other shops in the area. Granted our cupcakes aren't the size of gig's but they are a standard size cupcake. I am willing to give you a full refund on anything you bought from us. I would personally like to make it right for you. We appreciate any input you may have about our product and what you think might make it better. Didn't mean to stir the pot so to speak. Thanks Jamie.

YAY! She was my childhood best friend way back when we lived on the other side of the Gene Snyder and still one of my BFFs. Last time I talked to her on the phone she mentioned helping you paint the new place. I think I also saw you at the Douglas Loop farmer's Mkt peddling your treats? Didn't stop and introduce myself, but I did say to myself, "She's so pretty and sweet looking, that's gotta be Crystal's cousin". I've walked past your little shop many times (I live in the Highlands), even as recent as today (I was taking pictures of Baxter Ave. restaurants). Definitely looked through the windows every time. Congratulations on the opening! Next time I need a cupcake, I'll be there.

Yes, They did start doing them after they saw us doing them...along with many other things. In my defense I had no Idea Leah had done them before, as I stated I skimmed many websites in the local area and did not find any evidence of this. I am sorry I even posted this stupid thread. It seems all it has brought is drama and negativity. The purpose of starting the thread was to bring what I thought was a great new trend in the dessert/ shop area to Louisville. I am the new kid on the block, First time business owner trying to get my name out there. Be gentle please lol. Thanks Jamie

Works for me, Jamie! I won't tear this down. I just wanted to intervene while you were still a newbie and remind you about "excessive" advertising. You sound to me like you're going to fit right in here. :)
