Shady Lane in the news

Hey Folks, Check out the paper today for another nice article and recipies from The Shady Lane Cafe.\We were tagged by some foodies from the windy city who wrote the newspaper and had kind words to say about us. We were slammed from the get go, doing about 140 people from 11 till 3pm. We were rocking the joint. And please check us out for breakfast. I would say we are right up there with the best in town. Peace. Bill and Susi Smith.

Congratulations, great article, Bill and Susie!!! After reading this, I'm going to have to get over my narrow focus of Rubens, Burgers and Benedictine!!! Love everything I have ever had there but obviously haven't ventured too far!

We just returned form breakfast! I had the yummy omelet special, bacon, blue cheese, spinach, caramelized onions and tomato. Talk about a flavor punch! You guys really do have the best omelets.
