Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner

by Madeline Peters » Mon Sep 12, 2011 10:46 pm

If you had just one choice, would you go out for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner? I know many who love to go out for breakfast and I have never understood that. It is so easy to make waffle or pancakes in the privacy of your own kitchen in your Lanz pajamas. Dinner all day for me!

Actually once in awhile we really enjoy breakfast for dinner. Unfortunately none of the breakfast places are open at that time! I really wish that Wild Eggs, Verbena or one of the others would start being open until at least 7:00 PM.

Aside from Coals...Verbena is our current favorite place to eat, so I'd have to say breakfast.

Lunch is the least of them for me . . . if you have meat, chicken breasts (always in the freezer), lettuce, even a can of soup, lunch is five minutes away. And, most importantly, there is rarely more than one pan (if that) to clean up.

I can make great breakfasts and dinners, but the clean-up is something that on occasion we just can't face, so we'll much prefer going out for them! (not to mention that we frequently don't have just the right ingredients for a fruit waffle, by the time I make a Benedict it's time for dinner, we don't age beef here at home, and in general I refuse to dirty more pans than there are people at the table)

Mark,
Did you know that North End serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, all day everyday. So when you get a craving for breakfast for dinner stop on in we'd love to see you

We certainly do and that's where we go when the desire hits. I just wish that someplace closer to where we live did it too! We live in Anchorage and it's not as if you are right around the corner, although sometimes it's certainly worth the trip.
