Me and two ther people will be in Downtown New Albany on Wednesday and I was thinking of trying your place with my friends....It looks nice on your WebSite....But I really have no interest in stopping by for lunch anymore.....PS I know a lot of fine people that work at places like Target and Wal-Mart.....and at Chains.....They are people also making a living and spending money in this city. But I do not think that you would understand that.....Maybe a little "CHURCHING" might help you out to get your bitterness out of you about other people.....I could only hope.... :(
Keep hoping, I'm a Pagan and a Socialist.....but thanks for the input! I'll file that under the category of more useless and uninspired information.......LOL

Too bad, but I don't suffer fools, either.

That's the sound of the man dining with the chain gang

It's regrettable that some among us have never displayed a glimmer of understanding as to what individualism and uniqueness in business is all about, but that's the way the mass-produced Keebler crumbles.

Believing in something is tough, particularly when it runs counter to the corporatist propaganda we're force-fed every waking (and, for that matter sleeping) moments of our lives to the effect that the only way to be yourself is to copy someone else.

Clancy believes in another way, and so do I.

Sometimes it's not enough, and we take the good with the bad. Not long ago I read one of the worst reviews ever of my place, written by a contributor to the Beer Advocate web site. Piecing the story together from conversations with regulars and staffers, Ive concluded that the author was comically clueless, and never grasped what we try to do. Instead of learn, he slimed me and mine. I sincerely hope he never comes back. Ever.

Which is an admittedly long-winded way of saying that Robert's credentials as a Foody Philistine are so well established at this point that little of what he says here matters.

Do me a favor, Robert, and don't come see me, either, unless you want to take a stab at understanding our world. I'm not holding my breath.

To the contrary. I'm good with words because I work hard at it. I try to use the correct words to convey my chosen meaning, and I succeed far more often than I fail.

If one can't find meaning in my words, then the inescapable conclusion is that shortcomings are to be found in the comprehension of the reader, not the writer's ability.

Oakroom had a bison tartare that is rather good ......or they did.....or was it beef? I think it was bison. It's been a while. Would like to see them change it to a kobe tartare.
