Tour of Tuscany with Ruffino at Volare Sept. 20

by Robin Garr » Fri Sep 09, 2011 11:59 am

This looks great! I'm a big fan of Ruffino wines, and of course of Volare. Pardon the all-caps formatting, to save time and get this to you I pulled it from a PDF menu that looked much better in a small-caps tasteful font. ;)

You know me- I'll get right up in your face!

I haven't been in cause there's so many new places I've been making the rounds on...

I'm a douche for not getting into Blind Pig yet.

Anchorage Cafe is also top of list.

It's just when you eat like we do ($60-70/per) and tip like we do ($40 on $100) you have to slow down the regularity.

Besides, the fridge is not enough space for the produce to rotate- and we don't waste good food.

Nonetheless, see you soon, love!

:D

PS. Ruffino has a wonderful portfolio at good prices, your chef is legendary as is your service- nothing not to get hyped about this bill...

PPS. When people see the quality of these wines and what they can pick them up for, they are gonna find thier way into homes, for sure.

You are right on about the quality of these wines. It was difficult picking for Chef to choose without having an ALL night Italian feast. Our little 6 course feast will be excellent though! The Modus--a Cab/Sangio blend is amazing!! Can't wait to have it with the lamb!!

i will get to try it, right Chef? :D

Also, would like to give a shout out to Westport Whiskey & Wine, they are offering a 15% discount on these wines to anyone who attends the dinner, order forms will be available. A couple of these wines are very limited.
