Rock Lobster Tail?

If you were taking someone out who really wanted a good lobster tail, (and you couldn't fly somewhere with an ocean nearby) where would you take him?

Maybe we'll have to try Merlot's. We go to Mitchell's every year for his birthday (and I get their Caeser to go about once a week...*yum*!!)

The last time I was there (and a rare mention,) Ruth's Chris actually has a tank you can pick your lobster from.

Pick the mid-to smaller sized (1 1/2 to 2 pounds)

Pick one that's active, but not the bully of the tank.

With a little luck, you'll get the female holding eggs!

It's a great environment, decent beverage program, albeit priced in the steakhouse range.

Wherever you go- dont choose Australian lobsters!!! Thier connective tendons that run down the tail are tougher than sinew. A side effect of fighting the Aussie currents. You'll be all night trying to eat in the gentile fashion.
