We have tix for the game at 13:05 Monday afternoon, and apart from the carefully selected ballpark craft beers gifted to us by the wonderful folks at Centerplate  , we're wondering what's open in the neighborhood as we await the advent of Against the Grain.

Louisville Beer Store, IF it's open on Monday/Labor Day. Or Derby City Espresso?

I suppose it should be added that while I'm aware of what lies near, knowing what's actually open on the holiday is the object. Patrick O' Shea's? BBC 3rd?

Pretty sure Garage isn't open for lunch yet. Thus, Patrick O'Shea's and BBC 3rd & Main are your best bets (though if you haven't been to Doc Crow's, I'd give them a look-see).

Going by the reservations widget on their site, Doc's isn't open on Labor Day.

While not a beer drinking paradise by any stretch, it is a great event and worth checking out. A little tip: parking in the top/western most floor of the Galt House/Kentucky Center lot makes for easy access to a cooler kept in the car.

Cool. I didn't make the WorldFest connection, thanks.

WorldFest has been extended one day this year, so it goes Friday through Sunday of Labor Day weekend, as opposed to just Friday and Saturday in years past. Unfortunately, they didn't extend it two days, so it still won't reach till Monday.

I was going to suggest Hillbilly Tea, but looking on OpenTable it seems they're not open for lunch that day. Oh well.

Are you looking for walking distance only? If not, Joe Davola's, Papalino's, Irish Rover...all within 10 minutes drive of the park.
