Chef Anthony Lamas on Food Network

by Steve Shade » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:29 am

reminder .. Chef Lamas will be on the Food Network at 10:00 pm tonight (Thursday) on Extreme Chef.

A rather weird show but I will watch it because he is one of the contestants.

I've never seen this show, but oh man....sheer talent! Seriously, Seviche is still #1 choice for me. We've brought so many out of town clients to the place and they just rave and rave.If I were on Death Row (won't happen) I would have Senor Lamas make my meal! XOXO

Serious props to Anthony on winning! I couldn't muster the energy to go up last night, but sat nervous waiting for the results. I am so happy for him! He deserves it....

Congrats to Anthony! I don't think this comes as a surprise to many of us ... speaking for myself, I've rated Seviche in the city's top five - and on any given night, No. 1 - for a long time.

You're not lying Robin, and post remodel, he is turning and burning every night. Once he can get full use of the patio in the fall, it will be rocking everywhere!

We went to the party on Thursday night at Seviche. It was terrific. And such a wild, fun moment when everyone saw Anthony win the episode. We also got to try some of the dishes from the show... you can see why his rockfish dish helped him win the competition. The place was packed. It really felt like we were at the epicenter of the food universe that night. Where else can you eat a chef's food while watching him win a food network contest? Anthony was there, BTW. I think he got a little choked up during his thank you speech after the show ended!

Thank you all so much! It really means a lot and I truly appreciate all the support. I am blessed with a great team. Without them, what we do at Seviche wouldn't be possible. Louisville has an amazing culinary scene and I'm just happy to be part of it. We work hard everyday trying to put out the best food possible. We don't consider ourselves the "best" we just strive to do our best!
