Jeff T's post on the All About Louisville section reminded me of something I wanted to post that I thought other foodies here might be interested in. The Greenbrier in WV is having a couple of intriguing back-to-back chef events at the end of Oct. The resort is gorgeous, and although I have visited, I have never stayed there personally. But it is renowned for it's beauty, luxury, and pampering. It has also been known to train and employ many wonderful chefs, and the cuisine there is highly rated.
The first event is 'A Weekend of Culinary Masters' from 10/25 - 10/27:
"Everyone from impassioned foodies to neophyte oenophiles will enjoy expanding their palates during this weekend with some of America’s finest chefs and the graduating class of The Greenbrier Culinary Apprenticeship Program.
Refine your palate with guided wine tastings and learn some new kitchen techniques during the culinary demonstrations. There’s also an exciting cook off where you can cheer on your favorite chef, and nightly receptions, including a black-tie gourmet gala to close the weekend."

The second event is the 'Club Chef's Institute' from 10/28 - 10/31:
"Watch and learn from the masters of the culinary industry. The 4th Annual Club Chef's Institute will include demonstrations and seminars featuring industry leaders and Certified Master Chefs, showcasing their culinary talents.
