The dining room was totally lacking in ambiance - sort of like eating dinner in the high school auditorium. The service was not poor, but was not especially attentive. And the food, while "OK," was nothing special - certainly not good enough to entice us to return there or go to the new location instead of our neighborhood El Mundo.

Bingo - never been able to figure out what the fuss was all about. Not bad but nothing special. Louisville really doesn't have any top flight Mexican fare unfortunately.

Cause & effect. Was there any indication when this would be rectified? My stomach does flip-flops at the thought of eatng Mexican food without beer.

I'm gonna have to say "give them time". I've only been to the new location in NA once and had a bad service experience, just like it seems everyone else has had. But the the fact remains, for me at least, that they overwhelmed me every time I ate at the original location. To my knowledge, the owners have not changed - so I still have very high hopes for them. I love the cilantro soup and empapalados.
