Rehersal Dinner at Bank Street Brewhouse

by John NA » Sun Aug 07, 2011 4:52 pm

I recently went to a wedding rehearsal dinner at Bank Street Brewhouse. It was held on a Thursday evening so as to not interrupt their Friday night crowd. I serve as the Pastor of the church just up the road and have frequented this place numerous times.

I go to a lot of rehearsal dinners. Most of them are adequate. This one, however, was a new level of amazing. The appetizers included their famous frites and steak on crostini with horseradish sauce as well as a couple of the other items. This was followed by a small shrimp palate cleanser, salad, and Filet Mignon with Lyonnaise potatoes and some vegetables, followed by a lemon tart. The food was outstanding. Bank Street is really serving up some excellent food and reminding me that downtown New Albany really has become a great dining destination.
