Local kitchen space for rent???

by Bart L » Sun Aug 07, 2011 6:09 am

I know this has been brought up before but it has been a while. I am in need of preinspected kitchen space somewhere in the greater Louisville/southern Indiana area. I've really just started looking but am not getting anywhere so far. Does anyone know of anything for rent?? (even restaurants that might let you rent their kitchen in off hours) Thanks in advance for any help.

many of the food truckers are using Clifton Center

there are others around but they are going to require a good bit of money for it. If you are willing to spend I can get you in touch with someone with a 6000 sq ft kitchen.

I actually talked with one of the guys behind Holy Mole and he said the same thing about the Clifton Center. He also said that because of the high volume of different companies using it that it basically translated into not much time per company. I appreciate and will definitely keep it in mind as an option. Just wanting to see if anything else is out there. And unfortunately, as far as unlimited funds and 6000 sq ft spaces, both are completely foreign to me at this early stage. But once again, I'm thankful for all suggestions.

Good idea. If I'm not mistaken though, I think Against the Grain is doing some food service out of the old Browning's kitchen and I think I heard somewhere on here that the Park Place space is "going back to the Bats". Worth a shot though. Thanks.

I honestly cannot believe there are not more options out there in such a foodie city.
