It seems like for the most part Louisville is kind of in the middle as far as regulations go. The only local ones that seems uncommon is the 14 day requirement and the multiple locations requirement. I think having to be on private property is OK as is not allowing them to be in metered parking spaces. I think the commissary rule Chicago has is ridiculous and it takes away a lot of the potential benefits of the trucks. The fact that some trucks have actually built decks, etc. is totally ridiculous and I really don't understand how it is allowed in any way, when you do that it is no longer mobile.

I really liked the truck that was in NYC, (I think) that had seating on top like the double decker busses in the UK. I got 38' to play with, and hope to be up and running as soon as I can. 8) If I can swing the liquor license, this thing will ROCK. Plan on doing a lot of traveling also, Bonnaroo, etc. Total mobile kitchen, w/ a walk-in fridge, 6 burner stove, flat top, you name it. Yes I am thinking big, but that is the way I "roll" :idea:
