I wish the folks at Mi Patria the best and hope they recover from this set back.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe most insurances cover cash losses. If they did, everyone would have 2 million dollars stolen when they we robbed. Kind of like saying I had 10 million in shoe boxes under the bed after your house burns down.

And herein may lie the crux of the biscuit. Given the "seat of the pants" operating practices of such businesses, was there even any thought (or ability) to pay for such coverage. Adding to the possible <eh hem> complications (and assuming loss of such funds)...and NOT making any particular suggestions or accusations...is the matter of these money-transfer services. I will take a WAG and speculate that not all of the money being transferred through these "services" is properly accounted for. I will also speculate that not all of it comes from the paycheck of Jose the busboy who is sending money home to sister Juanita and her 5 kids down in Juarez. Who knows HOW that kinda stuff is handled. <shrugs>

Not sure what point you are trying to make, if there was one???
To use one of my favorite lines from the movie Billy Madison, Steve P, "what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
