Cokos Lokos Closed

Just read on FB that Cokos Lokos has closed today. Girl was a server there and said they want to reopen in 3ish weeks under a new name.

I think there was a management change, and not for the better.

Sad. we loved it the couple of times we went but think it was before the change.My married son was just saying something about wanting to go there last week told him I has heard it wasn't nearly as good anymore.

They really took a turn for the worse when they started the buffet. It was pretty bad. That's unfortunate because for the first 9 months they were really, really good and quite the value.

Near miss. The wife and I almost ate there Saturday, but went elsewhere.

I was in that plaza today, and when I left, I noticed the "open" sign illuminated, and the lights were on...

I remember having quite the conversation with Mark and Linda about this at the CQ offline. It was coming and I knew it. When a Cuban restaurant gets to the point at which they can't execute beans and rice or the Cuban Sandwich, well, it's over.

I'd never slam a restaraunt here- I'll always hope they can improve, internally.
