New corporate chef in town needs rental home

by Catherine Davidson » Thu Jul 14, 2011 11:54 am

Robin I'm not sure where to put this. I'm working with a corporate chef who is relocating with her husband and two children to Lou. Her husband is a teacher so they need a home to rent ASAP. We are looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home preferably inside the Watterson. They would like to rent for a year while they get to know our neighborhoods. The children are small. There are no pets. And since the rental market at the moment is so tight and the deadline is short, I'm asking for help. We've been on line but haven't found much budget friendly. Any ideas would be helpful :D . CD

Our places are smaller and currently rented, but Apartment Locators is a service that generally knows where all the vacancies are. No cost to the renter.

Thanks Robin. Leah thanks too for the Apartments Locaters suggestion. We may need to rethink & look for a condo. The rental home market is tight, tight, tight at least inside the Watterson.

Apartment Locators will know where available condos are also. A lot of us (landlords) use their service to find renters. No hassle to us, although we pay a small fee to them.

Catherine - I have a nice 2700 sq ft home across from Oxmoor Center in Norwood that will be available in Late Aug to early September in the $1,600.00 range that fits their requirements.

Sounds lovely Michael. It's a little out of our budget. We need to stay under $1400. But with your permission, I could pass your info on to another agent in our office who is also looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath. If that's okay with you send me a PM.

Hi Catherine-I think that was my sister, Donna! It's a very sweet, sturdy and simple house that feels like a home instantly!
