Old Louisville Restaurant Hosts Bourbon Dinner & Discussion
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 12, 2011) – Four Roses Distillery and Buck’s Restaurant are teaming up to host a Bourbon dinner and discussion at 6:30 p.m. the evening of July 28.
Bucks’ Four Roses Bourbon Dinner will feature special guest, Al Young, Four Roses Brand Ambassador and author of Four Roses - The Return of a Whiskey Legend and cuisine by Buck’s Executive Chef Andrew Welenken, including courses infused with various Four Roses expressions.
Prior to dinner, guests will receive a complimentary signed copy of Young’s recent book along with a brief discussion on the history and people behind the long-time international Bourbon brand.
The Four Roses dinner menu will include:
• Seared scallops with a Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon and blueberry barbecue sauce (paired with a tasting of Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon)
• Grilled turkey rib with a Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon sauce over a frisée pear salad (paired with a tasting of Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon)
• Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon strawberry mint julep granite
• Four Roses Bourbon and maple glazed pork tenderloin medallion with a sweet potato mousse OR Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon brown sugar crumbled salmon with an apple bourbon gastrique and wilted arugula (paired with a tasting of Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon)
• Four Roses 2011 Limited Edition Single Barrel Bourbon and vanilla bean crème brulee (paired with a tasting of Four Roses 2011 Limited Edition Single Barrel Bourbon)
