Anthony Lamas on the food channel again!

by Mark R. » Fri Jul 01, 2011 3:29 pm

Here's an article from Business First that talks about Anthony Lamas's participation in the filming of an episode of the new food channel program "Extreme Chef". I watch a preview of the program Sunday evening and really didn't think much of it but it's certainly good to see a local chef get additional national attention. His episode will air on August 11th at 10:00 PM.

I know the show won't be for everyone...but if anyone is enjoying it, we will have a viewing party at Seviche on August 11. I will serve some of the dishes I prepared on the show.
Heck! I didn't like alot of food shows myself, but I thought the challenge would be fun. I have to admit that I do watch alot more of Bravo and Food Network shows since actually participating on one. I was a guest Chef on Food Network years ago, but nothing like this. This was "Extreme" to say the least!

Certainly looking forward to see what you come up with! I think the show have a lot of potential depending on what the concept is for that week. I thought the rolling the barrel 1/2 mile with the pots and pans in it was a little strange as were the handcuffs. The actual cooking challenges themselves were actually pretty good.
