Okay, mea culpa, misleading title. Anyway, I had Mozza Pi cater my hubby's 60th birthday party Monday and it was AWESOME. They charged 12 bucks a head and we worked together on which pies to offer. Everyone at the party thought I was a genius for this . HA! They brought their truck and oven and cooked pies for 2 1/2 hours.They didn't even need electricity. They were such a cute bunch of people- way younger than us- and they made many fans with their pies AND personalities.
I have thrown many parties before and have several special caterers I love, but let's face it. After so many shrimp bowls, artichoke dips, Henry Bain tenderloins, blah blah, it's good but it's pretty predictable. Having your own made to order fresh wood oven pizza? PRICELESS! I hired my friends, The Merry Pranksters for an awesome musical experience!
