by Justyne Palermo » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:49 pm

The MozzaPi truck is having their first "NOT your momma's craft night" this weekend on both Friday and Saturday night at the Spindletop Draperies parking lot on Bardstown Rd. - 1064 Bardstown Rd. Craft pizza, craft beer and live music by local musicians!

Here is the link to the event on our blog: http://mozzapi.com/?p=370 and on FB: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=232173853469067

As usual we'll be there till the dough runs out so make sure to get there early to get your pizza on! Hope to see you there!

Curious why you are serving Southern Tier instead of beer from one of our many local breweries? Seems odd for such a grass roots operation as a food truck.

David- Since we are not yet up in our restaurant we do not currently have a liquor license for our mobile operation. We had to go through an agency that has the liquor license and therefore our choices on liquor and beer choices were limited.

However with that being said, we are BIG fans of New Albanian Brewing company and definitely plan to feature local brews once our brick and mortar location is opened up. Would love to have a discussion about this with you if you are interested:)

Anytime.

If your agency is licensed to buy ST, they can buy local just as easy. Just saying. ;-)

That is a pretty good location for walk up traffic for pizza, something BW 3's and Cahoots are lacking.
Wick's would be the other closest to you with pizza .
Good luck, hope to stop by Friday !

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

They're pretty darn close to Papalino's, though, which sets up more of an Olympiad of Pie.

Oh no! A food truck setting up within fourteen miles of a brick and mortar restaurant that sells the same thing? That's the end of Papalino's, Spinelli's, Wick's, Impellizeri's, etc.

I doubt that Papalino's, Spinelli's or Impellizzeri's will complain.
