Hey, Anthony ... who were the judges? Local food writers or restaurant people? Name a name or two so we'll know who to shun. ;)

I say, let's celebrate all our great chefs, and restaurants. If any one wins the prize, we all win the prize!!

You would think that would be the case.

I didn't get any non-support from Anthony's post. I read that he didn't appreciate being insulted in front of a member of his staff. Nothing about what he said took away from Varanese's win. Sounds like he just wanted to vent.

I'll agree with that, but it kind of brought a little rain to John's parade.

Anthony Lamas wrote:Not at all taking anything away! I also posted that I agree with Will. On his post about way to go John. Just stating the facts, that a judge had a personal opinion about me and insulted me to the other judges in front of my manager. She didn't know that she was my manager too. Do I think I had the best dish! Most certainly! But hey you can't win them all! I was happy with my National win in Monterey. So sorry if you took it that way Justin! Another Chef just sent me a message about the judges. He was one of the Chefs that competed too. He confirmed my thoughts

I didn't take it "that way". I just didn't find the negativity added anything positive to John's win or the thread.

Kind of like announcing you just got fired and your wife left you right after your buddy says he got promoted and engaged.
