Not sure about this one, but I do know of a place in S Florida where an elderly man died at the table, and the restaurant made his wife pay for the meal as they hauled the deceased man off in an ambulance.

My father-in-law had a heart attack in a Cracker Barrel in the local area. The manager tried to save his life. They were heroic and gracious - my wife and all of her family were treated with great respect and caring. Sometimes we make decisions that affect others for years.

Sorry about your F-in-Law, but I see Cracker Barrel's menu as something that affects me badly for years. If I ate there regularly from a broad menu selection, I might wind up quite unhealthy.
