J. Gumbo's Prospect

I heard this had closed and that a sushi place was going in. If true it's too bad - I'd rather keep the Cajun thing going out here. There's more than enough sushi to go around.

J Gumbo's has closed and the name of the new restarant will be Rikisa, I think that is the name, but I don't have any idea what the concept will be other then generic oriental.

Yes, sadly we did close that location. We had assumed the old Subway lease when they moved (with just a little time left on the meter), and had the location taken off, we would have re-upped, but it just didn't get the traffic we had hoped in that particular spot.

We are always shopping for a great location and an ambitious, energetic owner who can tackle the Prospect area. We hope to return to the area soon. (much like our Fern Valley Rd location, which continues to be elusive)
