If you were 90

by Catherine Davidson » Tue Jun 07, 2011 5:00 pm

If you were 90 years old and wanted to celebrate by inviting your girlfriends ( peers ) to lunch where might you go? Someplace quiet I think. My friend normally goes to Lilly's and 211 Clover but both are out for this lunch for various reasons. What do you think? Nothing "exotic". No clubs. For some reason I'm stumped.

Oh, durn, you're right. I knew that! D'oh!

Thanks, Gayle! I think Majid's is fine by day or by night, but it might be a little more noisy at night for the kind of atmosphere Catherine is looking for.

I agree with Mark, Corbett's is a great location for an elderly group! Another very good place would be the Coach Lamp, which is close to downtown. Very accessible and wonderful food. They would totally cater to your needs. Enjoy!

Uptown Cafe is pretty mellow during weekdays. The food is always exceptional!

Pat's Steakhouse with the private rooms upstairs popped into my head.

Buck's is open for lunch, and is usually pretty quiet. Good choice.

Good point, I completely forgot about Science Hill. Thanks Gayle.

Corbett's is a great idea too and close to her home.
