Movie help needed.

by James Wise » Sun May 29, 2011 1:07 pm

Hello all,
My name is James Wise and I am prodution designer for the movie "Tan Lines". We are shooting in Louisville during the month of June, and are in need of some set pieces for a coffee house scene. We are looking for cafe tables, chairs, matching plates and coffee cups for one evening. I was hoping someone on the forum would know of a resturant that (sadly) had recently closed, or one (happily) that was set to open soon, and would be agreeable to loaning out tables and chairs for the evening of the shoot. If anyone has any ideas I would be very appreciative. Here is the link to our movie if anyone would like more information. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1877894/ Please help us make this Louisville centric movie a success!

Have you considered talking to one of the restaurants and has a dark day about using their entire restaurant to film that scene? It seems like that would be easier for you and probably would be more possible for the restaurant to agree to fix everything wouldn't have been moved twice in such short order.

Hey what about hitting up kingfish or someone with high volume seating capacity?
'course they aren't the classiest seats in the area...
Btw my friend drew had a brush with fame when he bumped into sam downtown and posted it on his fb page immediately. He loves him from "Raising Arizona" quite the lineup dude. Congrats bro!
