I had their brat at the Buy Local Fair and it was really good. I must admit I'm more of a plain old German-American church picnic kind of brat-lover...slapped on a piece of rye with yellow mustard
but this brat was excellent and really kicked things up a notch :-)

Disclaimer: Busta Grill is owned/operated by HotBytes forum member Adam C., who has been my totally awesome friend for a long, long time.

That said, Adam's in front of Nelligan Hall in Portland right now as there's a record fair going on today, and so for the first time I tried his food. I had a bison dog, and my lady had a polish sausage, and they were both excellent! Fantastic chimichurri slaw on top! Salut, Adam C. and his Busta Grill!

I have had Adam's "Busta" Bison sausage as well and it indeed was excellent. I spoke with him a short while back and he was gearing up to produce his own sausages. Best of luck to him and louisville street food vendors in general. 8)

Thank you! My goal is to produce my own, home made sausages but there's the whole USDA certification that is freaking me out as in, I have no idea how to go about it (would love some pointers from any hotbytes members on how to get USDA certification for a commercial kitchen). But for now I am trying to do my best to blow up the traditional hot dog stand idea (no dirty water hot dogs!) and be as creative as possible with the best food I can find. Hint: get something with the chimichurri cole slaw and fried potato sticks.

Oh, and tomorrow is Friday which means it's Joe Pesci Friday. Meaning you get discounts when you give me your best Joe Pesci impersonation (I also, occasionally, give discounts if you wear white socks in honor of my favorite baseball team). I am located on 1st and Washington behind Humana and Whiskey Row from 10 -3 Tuesday-Friday (unless it rains). Pretty much 5 bucks gets you anything on the menu. Cheers!!

Here's the menu:

best of luck to you adam. :)

Not really:

I'm Leo Getz, and whatever you want, Leo gets.

Sure, mom, I settle down with a nice girl every night, then I'm free the next morning.

Look, I don't want to have to put you kids through hell so let me tell you what's going to happen. First I'm gonna hurt you. Then you're gonna try to be brave. Then I'm gonna hurt you again, then you're gonna tell me everything.

What do you mean I'm funny?
