Love it! I'll be sure to share this with my sons.

An important phrase to know whenever traveling! I've managed to lean it over the years in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norse, Slovene, Croatian, Greek, Japanese and Filipino and Australian. This will be useful if I ever get off the beaten path, though ...

A lifetime ago I had a friend who was able to substitute for someone who had to drop out of a trip to Paris. My friend had enough time off from work and a passport at the ready, so she stepped in for the trip. With just a week or so advance warning she had to carefully learn only the most important phrases in French. She learned,
"How much does it cost?"
"Where is the restroom?"
"More whipped cream please."
