And, if you're feeling lazy, Lotsa Pasta makes an excellent muffuletta that reminds me more of Central Grocery's iconic version in New Orleans than most restaurant muffulettae I've had around here.

I totally agree with Robin about Lotsa Pasta's muffuletta.

I also agree, its almost as good as Nancy's.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Now that may be stretching it a bit, John. :P

So yesterday I took Deb's advice and went to Hidden Hill. Our whole family loved it. Grandparents, four-year-olds and everyone in between. We packed a cooler and had a lovely picnic lunch on the tables adjacent to the nursery. The drive to Utica was nice and interesting with an up-close view of Jeffboat. We spent two hours at Hidden Hill and will definitely return. I would highly recommend it as a family outing. We couldn't have had a better time there.

Thanks to Deb for a great suggestion! :D

Jen,

So glad you enjoyed it!! We love the place.
Also a good reminder to me that my family hasn't been there yet this summer.

Not any more! :P

Funny thing about Facebook registration: Facebook is pretty darn good about nuking spammers and fake IDs but the spam gangs can be relentless. Anyway, Mr Delhi has been vaporized AND reported to Facebook.
