Has anyone tried Edoya?

It moved into the old Lanai/Veranda/Trattoria building. It's been open for about 6 or 7 months. They are a Japanese restaurant.

Someone posted something in the old forum about it closing until a quality problem was fixed? Does that sound right? You can search the old forum, look up to your right.

For the past few weekends when I've driven by there have been zero cars in the lot...it was posted on the old forum they were closed temporarily, but it doesn't look like they have ever reopened... I never got a chance to try them...

You didn't miss much. It was OK, but not as good as Fuji in my opinion. At that location a place would really have to be outstanding. Not exactly on the beaten path, especially for lunch.

They are now open--via the neon OPEN sign in the front window.

I guess I might have to take one for the team.

I posted on the old forum that Edoya was temporarily closed due to a sign posted on the door that said there were quality issues. I take my kids out to Awana every Wednesday, across the street from Edoya, and the last couple of weeks there has been an "OPEN" sign blinking in the window.
