Local Non-Profit Group seeking help!

Hello, my name is Whitney and I am the founder Louisville Mommies. We are a community of moms who meet online and in person to network with other moms and provide support to each other. We welcome, for free, any mom in the Kentuckiana area. We receive an average of 700,000 hits a month and are already at 350,000 for the month of May! We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping parents find support and friendship in their local community.

We are hosting a Birthday Bash in the Winner's Circle Ballroom at the Fern Valley Hotel and Conference Center on June 25th . We are reaching out to local businesses that we think our members will be interested in! This event will be open to our membership, as well as the public and will be advertised! We strive to keep all of our events free to the people who are attending!

We were really hoping to possibly find some restaurants who may be interested in making some donations!

To show our appreciation, you will be recognized at the event, thanked on our online forums, listed as an official sponsor, & featured in our monthly newsletters & Facebook. Without local support, we couldn't have fun events like these to grow our membership. We make sure all of our members know about the great companies who help us out!

Under what charitible purpose are you a 501 c 3?

Sorry, I just didn't understand the post. (I'm a mommy too...just trying to figure out your organization's charitable purpose.)

I wasn't trying to be rude. Just asking what this is. (I know that tone doesn't always translate to the written word.) I hope the new(ish) girl didn't scare the other new girl off. That wasn't my intention.

Thanks! I'm just learning about 501 c 3's (I've been learning about them through some missing childrens' websites) so, was just basically testing my knowledge of them.

We do fundraisers and charitable events throughout the year. Last year we raised money for Salvation army Angels, did the March of Dimes Walk, and collected over 1,000 non perishable food items for Dare to Care.
