Bristol Bar and Grille Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Special Prix Fixe Dinners at All Four Locations for $30
The Bristol Bar and Grille will celebrate its 30th anniversary with dining events at all four Bristol locations from 5:30 p.m. until close. On Thursday, Sept 27, each Bristol will offer a special anniversary prix fixe for $30. The four-course dinners will showcase signature dishes from the past 30 years as well as new creations. The regular menu featuring such favorites as the green chili won tons and pork dijonnaise will also be available.
Bristol wine director Scott Harper has created a special wine pairing which complements the four-course dinner for a small additional charge.
To commemorate the event, each location will sell a special collector’s poster created by award-winning Louisville graphic designer and artist Julius Friedman. The Bristol Limited Edition 30th Anniversary poster will be available at every Bristol location, with proceeds benefiting different charities:
Bardstown Road: Special Olympics of Kentucky
Downtown: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Jefferson County
Hurstbourne: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana
Prospect: Louisville Deaf Oral School
“We opened our doors in 1977 with the intent of creating a restaurant that would become part of the community,” said Bristol founder Doug Gossmann. “Our amazing and loyal guests in Louisville have helped us to achieve that goal at our original spot on Bardstown Road and the newer locations."
Gossman will present a special surprise gift to the community on the night of Sept. 27 as "our way of showing our gratitude."
Reservations are required for this special occasion and can be made by contacting the Bristol location of choice. Downtown (502) 582-1995; Highlands (502) 456-1702; Prospect (502) 292-2585; and Hurstbourne (502) 426-0627.
