Skimping on Pizza Toppings

I didn't want to hijack the pizza location discussion. I might remember Mario's (?) at Hikes Point. My mother bought frozen cheese pizzas and cooked hamburger to top them - pizzas back then, were about that good
Anyway, my husband and I love the Refrigerator Pizzas at NABC in NA. That's our standard. (Mama Bearno's was previously.) So now, when we occassionally have pizza out - we're really disappointed. Italian sausage, bacon, onion, lightly sprinkled here and there on a pizza the other night. It tasted good, but it's not pizza to me. HIgh price bread, an appetizer, maybe, but not a pizza.
So, for pizza, we'll hold out for NABC. Thank you.
