Lil Cheezers on East End today

I I arrived awhile ago to find a Food Truck in our office parking lot- great lunch option for today! Our office is at 13551 Triton Park Blvd- in the Eastpoint Industrial Center. Off the Gene Snyder between LaGrange and Old Henry Roads. Come check them out!

Any idea how long they are going to be there?

Sorry, Mark- I don't know. I only was in the office for an houtr today and didn't get to talk to them. ( Heard raves about the food from my collegues though). I think they post their locations/hours on their facebook.

My wife and I went by this afternoon and we each had a sandwich, they are certainly very impressive. The sandwiches are extremely tasty and the homemade chips complement them perfectly. Certainly glad that they got things straightened out with metro government so we can share the experience!

Thank you everyone for coming out. It was our first time out in the east end and the response was amazing. Thank you Deb for getting the word out, I really appreciate it.

I look forward to many more visits out to the Old Henry Road area, there is NOTHING out there. Its perfect for food trucks out there.

Very glad to help. Heard raves about your food back in my office. Really sorry I couldn't stop to meet you- I literally was in my office for 1 hour today and then had to run to another meeting. Very disappointed I didn't get to try your food.

CH Robinson invited us to come back every other week but with the Health Department rules thats just not possible. We will be back out in that area scouting locations to park so we can get into a rotation out there. With 2 more locations I can keep a local rotation going and make it out in that area every week. Not in the same parking lot but within the same vicintity.

See this is where some of the antiquated rules effect us and our customers. I can understand making someone move every 14 days to keep them moving for the sake of restaurants but in a situation like this there is absolutely nothing out there that we provide any competition to. There is absolutely no reason why we couldnt be back out in those parking lots. We needed gas and ice before we started today and literally drove around for an hour looking for a gas station. There wasn't much of anything off that Old Henry Road exit.

If there are any other organizations out there that would like us to park in their lot, I would LOVE to get out in that area every week. This area is EXACTLY what food trucks are built for.

You should check into the parking lots over at Orsmby Park place. There's a lot of businesses here and all that's right here is McDonald's and McAlister's.

You are right about Old Henry, but there are several fast food options plus Kroger at Lagrange Road- which is equidistant for half of the office park, and close for everyone else. There is however a total lack of other GOOD food options .

We are not CH Robinson- we are another tenant in the same building. Is the restriction by address or by customer?- we'd happily invite you back separately every other week if that helps.

The Anthem building right next door at 13550 might be a good choice.

We have an on-site cafeteria, but Sodexo, seriously? I know my co-workers would probably be keen on trying your product. I'm not sure if there are any corporate restrictions with having another vendor on site, but we have catering by other companies all the time.

If more of Anthem's employees had known you were next door, I'm sure that would have contributed (maybe they did, but my manager said she was not aware of your presence).

Deb they say it has to be a seperate property and seperate owner but they have not shown me anything on paper that can back that up. The health department also is still typing our permits up on typewriters, making photo copies and storing it all in manilla folders. We have just gone down there and gotten temp permits for everything and they never seem to question our location choices or anything so as far as I am concerned if there is a different name and an address that differs by at least 1 or 2 numbers then game on!

Terri I was staring at that Anthem building on the way in, along with that Baptist building across the street. Money was a factor and I didnt have my printed flyers/menu cards yet. I dropped one off with the 3rd party security team downstairs but they told me they werent allowed to solicit.. I even offered them free food!!! Typically when we are in a new part of town we will go drop off menus but that day we stupidly did not have any other than the one I gave to security. Next time I will go on the website and just email the employees directly or perhaps find an insider like yourself that might like a free lunch for some word of mouth

Most of the time Williams food service or whoever has the vending contracts just state that you cant have another vending operation there. We are a mobile food truck not a vending operation, call it a temporary food service establishment, call it catering. Thats where some of those contracts are limited and dont really effect us. Its all in how you word it.

I will be more than happy to offer some menu cards next time and try to get the word out.
