Idea Festival - Homaro Cantu

by Deb Hall » Thu Sep 06, 2007 10:25 am

I was signing up for sessions at next week's Idea Festival, and thought some of the Chefs and foodies out there might be interested in this session:

Homaro Cantu
Sept. 13
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
(KICC)
Pass Required: $25.00 (Student $5)

What’s the deal with levitating food or an edible menu? Learn about these and other fascinating culinary ideas with top chef and innovator Homaro Cantu of Moto Restaurant in Chicago. The son of an engineer Cantu, who sees himself as a scientist at heart (think molecular gastronomist), is one the world’s most imaginative and groundbreaking chefs. Fast Company Magazine wrote that his “…brand of humor, technology, shock value and flavor has turned the fine-dining experience on its head”.

The site for registering for the Idea Festival sessions is:
http://www.ideafestival.com You need to pre-register, even for the free sessions.

Pretty cool that it's in Louisville!
