Does anyone know of a local bakery that makes cream puffs? Thanks.

Not sure if you consider it local but I know the Meijer's on Charlestown Rd in New Albany makes them and they are delicious.

The Bakery at Sullivan! They call them "profiteroles", but it's the same thing. Delicious vanilla pastry cream piped into a puff-pastry shell, sometimes iced with chocolate.

Thanks! I didn't even think of The Bakery! Never have been disappointed there. Do they commonly have them or should I call to order? I need them for Easter and hope they'll stay in the fridge for a day.

I'd call to order, just to be sure; I don't think they stock them every day.

Thanks. The challenge will be getting out with ONLY the profiteroles. Not likely!

That's the type of cream puff I remember from childhood, lol. However, in France I had the in a denser pastry and a custard filling. We had a French themed party and I made a tray of those and they were heavenly (especially good when warm)

We also make them at Sweet Surrender, with your choice of whip cream or custard filling. We will also occasionally flavor the filling chocolate or raspberry.
