No Rooties and no French Laundry either?? Heavy on France though...seems a little biased (maybe even snobbish?) to me. Just my .02

looks like Ill be scratching elBulli off the bucket list. I've been marveling at Ferran Adria's work for years through print and picture. Guess it'll have to stay that way

Thanks Justin...and still, a lot of French going on even then. Nice to see Masa's in the top 100 though. Bay Area looks like it nearly got overlooked??

I'm trying to figure out who the hell is eating at these places.

It would cost a minimum of $480 for a couple to eat at Alinea and that is drinking water. I can't justify that kind of money, even for an "once in a lifetime" dining experience.


I'm not a fan of these chefs doing 300 course tasting menus, for hundreds of dollars, with no other dining options. I guess it keeps the riff raff, like me, out.
