The owner is Fernando's brother and their chef worked w/ Fernando to set up Mojito's menu - what a "pedigree"...!
First, we put in an order of the arroz con pollo (their version of chicken paella). For apps - we had the ceviche of the day (great - I could eat it everyday) guacamole w/ plantain chips, house marinated olives; tappas - queso fundido, tamale, steak chimichurri, empanandas; then came the paella. We finished with the churros w/ chocolate ganache. Hubby had the classic mojito, I had the passion fruit caiparaina, sis had a curacao (?) ice tea, and her hubby had a couple of beers. We thought everything was delish except the tamale - bro-in-law and I really liked it a lot, but not Dean and my sis. Oh - and we took home enough paella to feed my daughter and her friend. I asked what we had to do to get them closer to home...I was told good things are coming

In the meantime, I will gladly make the trip across the bridge for Habana Blues - there's still a lot on the menu to be sampled! And I know it will always be worth the trip!!
