If you really want to WOW your guests and don't mind a 10-to-15-minute "back-roads" drive from Versailles to Nonesuch, KY, you might want to consider trying to get reservations at The Glitz Restaurant in the Irish Acres Gallery of Antiques.
http://irishacresgallery.com/the-glitz/Although lots of people in central KY have never heard of the place, it's well known among the fine-antiques connoisseurs of Manhattan, Philadelphia & Boston. The owners have converted an old school building into a unique "destination experience" that's hard to define without seeing it in person. Everyone we've ever taken there for the first time walks through the "plain" front entrance door and stands in the foyer for a few seconds with their mouth open in amazement before they're able to utter a word.
The Glitz restaurant, located downstairs in the building, is open for lunch only, and I feel safe in saying that it would be a dining experience your guests will tell people about when they return home.
